All men and women aged 50 to 74 years, resident in Central Denmark Region are invited to participate in screening for colorectal cancer every second year. Participation in colorectal cancer screening is voluntary.

The invitation is distributed by postal service and contains a self-sampling kit, with which you collect a small sample of faeces. You send the sample to a laboratory, where it is analysed for blood. Depending on the result of the analysis, you will be summoned to additional examination using colonoscopy or you will be invited to colorectal cancer screening again in two years.

In the drop-down menus below you will find more information about colorectal cancer screening in Central Denmark Region.

If you do not wish to participate in colorectal cancer screening, you can unregister from the screening programme. Please use the 'Unregister' box at your right.

If you have any questions or difficulties, you can contact the Department of Public Health Programmes using the contact link at your right.
